We are an online, multi-vendor marketplace dedicated exclusively to the Mauritian geek community. Think of us like a local “Etsy” for geeks! We provide the platform for independent local artists, creators, and vendors to sell their geek-culture products directly to you.

No, we operate 100% online. All products listed on the marketplace are held, packed, and shipped directly by the individual independent creators (Sellers).

🛍️ For Buyers

No, we operate 100% online. All products listed on the marketplace are held, packed, and shipped directly by the individual independent creators (Sellers).

Absolutely. All payments are processed through our highly secure payment gateway, Peach Payments. We accept major credit/debit cards and local payment methods supported by the gateway. We are Geekin’ never sees or stores your full card details.

Yes! We use a system called the Geek Protection Guarantee (Escrow). When you pay for an item, the money does not go straight to the Seller. We are Geekin’ holds your payment securely in trust. We only release the funds to the Seller after they have provided valid proof that your item has been dispatched or delivered.

Because we are a marketplace, the individual Creator (Seller) you bought the item from is responsible for packaging and shipping the order directly to your door (or arranging a local meetup, if they offer it). Shipping times and methods vary from seller to seller, so be sure to check their specific store policies!

You can check out with items from multiple sellers in one single transaction! However, because each seller ships their own items, you will receive separate packages, and shipping fees will apply per seller.

Don’t panic! First, reach out to the Seller directly through the platform—they are usually quick to help. If the seller does not respond within 3 business days, or if you can’t reach a resolution, contact our Support Team. Because we hold the funds in Escrow, we can step in, mediate, and issue a refund if the item was not delivered or arrived damaged. (See our Refund & Return Policy for full details).

🎨 For Sellers (Creators & Vendors)

It is incredibly easy! When you sign up for a new account on our platform, simply tick the “I am a seller” box on the registration page. From there, you will select your seller subscription package, and you can instantly start setting up your store and uploading your products!

To ensure a high-quality and dedicated marketplace, we require an annual, non-refundable subscription fee to begin selling. We offer two packages tailored to your needs:

  • Basic Seller (Rs 2,500 / year): This grants you full access to set up your store, manage your inventory, and sell your items to our community.

  • Marketing Boost Seller (Rs 5,500 / year): Get maximum visibility! Along with all the Basic features, your products will be actively promoted in our email newsletters, featured in our social media campaigns, and highlighted on our website’s banner ads.

Note: In addition to the yearly subscription, we charge a flat commission rate on every successful sale. This covers the cost of maintaining the platform and the secure Peach Payments processing fees. You can view the commission rates in your Vendor Dashboard.

We are looking for anything related to geek culture! This includes fan art, custom apparel, 3D printed props, tabletop gaming accessories, comic books, collectibles, and more. Note: We strictly prohibit illegal items, vaping products, counterfeit/bootleg goods, and weapons. Please read our Terms and Conditions for the full list of prohibited items.

To protect our buyers, we operate as a Commercial Agent holding funds in Escrow. Here is how it works:

  1. A buyer purchases your item.

  2. The funds are held securely in the We are Geekin’ account.

  3. You pack and ship the item.

  4. You upload the Tracking Number or Proof of Delivery to your Vendor Dashboard.

  5. Once dispatch is verified, we release the net payout (minus our commission fee) directly to your Mauritian bank account via Peach Payments.

You do! As an independent creator, you are the Seller of Record. You are completely in charge of your own inventory, packaging, and shipping methods. You will set your own shipping rates and policies in your store dashboard and manage updates using the Dokan shipment tracking tool.

Because We are Geekin’ acts as a Commercial Agent (Mandataire), the legal contract of sale is between you and the buyer. We simply facilitate the payment. Therefore, you are responsible for declaring your own gross sales revenue and managing any VAT liabilities with the Mauritius Revenue Authority (MRA), according to your own business structure. We will provide you with a monthly statement of the commission fees we charged you for your records.
